Discovering Navarra Through a Teaching Graduate Program

Thanks to Meddeas, a teaching graduate program in Spain, I get the opportunity to learn new education skills, but also so much more. Besides, I have also met wonderful people passionate about travelling. As a result, we have already discovered together beautiful places in Spain, especially in Navarra (the region where I teach). Have a look to this beginner´s guide to make friends abroad.

Pamplona is where I teach through a Teaching Graduate Program

Before I arrive to Navarra, I didn’t know anything about this area. Despite this, since I teach Bachillerato grade (from 16 to 18 years old), I take advantage of it and ask my students for sightseeing recommendations. What are the places that I definitely shouldn’t miss? I have realized that students love sharing what they know because they showed me pictures of nice places to visit.

I met new friends through Meddeas, a Teaching Graduate Program

I was very surprised by all of these wonderful landscapes: mountains, hills, forests, waterfalls, and even a desert. In adition, I didn’t waste my time going there with some friends. Pamplona, the capital of Navarra, is also a lovely city with nice architecture, good history surrounded by hills and parks to relax. I love the tradition of Juevintxos in Pamplona. Every Thursday you can meet friends from the same Teaching Graduate Program and eat cheap pinchos (tapas) in pubs. To me, it’s a great place to work, meet friends and at the same time enjoy nature.

Finally, if you liked what I said from Navarra, have a look to this blog to discover more about the North of Spain.
